The New York State Economics Association is a not-for-profit corporation organized exclusively for educational purposes. The NYSEA promotes and cultivates scholarly activities in the field of economics in the State of New York by holding annual meetings and seminars, publishing scholarly papers and providing professional and technical contributions to public and private institutions throughout New York State.
The New York State Economics Association (NYSEA) calls for paper submission for its 2017 (70th) Annual Conference, to be held at Farmingdale State College on October 6-7, 2017 (Friday and Saturday). The conference will include a welcome reception, an invited keynote speech, parallel sessions, round table discussion forums and Undergraduate Student Paper Contest. Arrival, registration of conference participants and the welcome reception will occur in the afternoon and evening of October 6 at Hilton Long Island Hotel. All speeches and sessions will be held on October 7 at the campus of Farmingdale State College.
Apart from the regular sessions, we’ll also have an Undergraduate Student Paper Contest. Please also encourage your (or, your colleagues’) undergraduate students to submit papers for this contest. The Hilton Long Island Huntington Hotel has provided the NYSEA with a group rate on lodging ($155 for a
Queen Room (two queen size beds) plus state and local taxes). The Cut-off Date for the group rate is 5 p. m
